$9,500 in Scholarships Given to Texas Students as Part of 2020 Video Contest

Youth in agriculture continue to be recognized as Capital Farm Credit continues its tradition of hosting its "What Agriculture Means to Me" video contest.

Texas 4-H and FFA members were invited to create a 30 second video explaining their definition of agriculture. Capital Farm Credit selected four winning recipients for their 2020 video contest. The top three winning entries were determined by public votes. A fourth submission was designated by Capital Farm Credit as its corporate selection winner. Students will receive a scholarship and a donation to their 4-H or FFA program.

Capital Farm Credit's video contest winners include, Meagan McMurray of College Station FFA; Dalton Hamilton of Otto 4-H; Delaney Wilde of Westphalia 4-H and Za'Chara Barr of Belton Tigertown 4-H. A combined total of $9,500 will be awarded to the winning recipients.

"Agriculture is a substantial part of our future," said Ben Novosad, chief executive officer. "It is important to us at Capital Farm Credit to recognize its prominence and an even bigger honor to recognize Texas' youth who already understand its value."
