Liberty Hill High School senior named Austin Market's Ag Student of the Week - Week 3

Current Ag Involvement: "This organization has truly impacted my life and how I live today. I didn't come from a traditional agricultural background and grew up in Round Rock, Texas. However, when I moved to Liberty Hill, my FFA chapter was among the first to embrace me with open arms. I currently serve as the Liberty Hill FFA Treasurer and have competed on various LDE and state-level CDE teams, including Livestock Judging which has played a major role in developing my love for the livestock industry. I'm working to achieve my CVA Level 1 Certification through the animal science practicum courses offered by my ag department while interning at a local veterinary clinic. I've had the opportunity to raise and show market broilers, however, my most recent projects have involved exhibiting Texas Longhorn cattle."

College to Attend: Texas A&M University (Animal Sciences)

Career Goal: I hope to attend vet school post-graduation to pursue a career as a veterinarian.
