Capital Farm Credit awards $135K in youth scholarships

Capital Farm Credit concluded its 2023 scholarship season, awarding more than 130 scholarships to students across Texas.

The association continues to value the success of the next generation of agriculturalists. A total of $135,000 was awarded to graduating high school seniors from across the state, including additional scholarships given through the association’s Ag Student of the Week Program.

Since 2016, Capital Farm Credit has given more than $600,000 in student scholarships.

“These young people are our future, and we are honored to support their academic careers as a part of our mission to support agriculture and rural communities," said Jeff Norte, chief executive officer. “We hope each of them will continue to give back to the agriculture industry, and we cannot wait to hear of their future accomplishments.”
