Javier Lemus
Javier is the interim Chief Financial Officer and supervises association accounting and financial reporting, treasury services, loan accounting and operations, and participation accounting. He has over 20 years of financial and accounting experience and is a certified public accountant (CPA), licensed in the State of Texas. He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in accounting from Texas State University. Before joining CFC in 2018, he spent 11 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in the assurance practice where he provided audit services to clients in various industries such as banking, asset management, broker dealers, employee benefit plans and healthcare. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Farm Credit System’s Accounting Standards workgroup and the Internal Controls over Financial Reporting workgroup.
