From swamplands to cotton farms, this year’s Capital Farm Credit photo contest showcased incredible images and landscapes from across Texas.

Hundreds of photos were submitted, with 13 selected to be featured in the 2027 Capital Farm Credit calendar. The top three entries also received cash prizes.

Customers, employees, rural families and professionals alike were invited to submit their best images, and they delivered.

Taking first place and a $300 prize was Colin Holub of Holub Farms, who submitted a photo of an alligator taken in Angleton.

Second place and a $200 prize went to Landri Lawrence of Texas Tech University, whose photo captured a father and son on horseback near Lubbock.

Rounding out the winners in third place was Keith Payne of Texas Ranch Sales, who received a $100 prize for his photo of a pond with fishing boats docked in Hondo.

All submitted photos were required to be taken in Texas and reflect the contest’s focus on celebrating local communities.

Calendars will be available later on this fall at Capital Farm Credit locations across Texas.
