Capital Farm Credit names Josh Krupa regional president of Houston Region

Capital Farm Credit has named Josh Krupa as regional president of the Houston region, filling the seat vacated by Tim Knesek, who was named South Texas regional president in late April.

Krupa is a 20-year veteran at CFC, serving as regional vice president of sales for the Brazos Valley Sub-region in Bryan for the past five years. His roots in Farm Credit lending and team-building experience also include leading the Piney Woods Sub-region, serving as branch manager in the Conroe and Livingston credit offices and serving as the vice president of lending in both the Bryan and Conroe credit offices.
“Josh oversees eight to 10 relationship managers across the Bryan, Conroe, Madisonville and Crockett offices while managing an individual portfolio,” said Phil Peabody, chief lending officer for CFC. “He works diligently alongside our loan administration managers to align our lending practices for more efficient and cohesive sales process, as well as working with his fellow leaders to develop and execute strategic business development initiatives.”
Krupa graduated from Texas A&M University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Development where he was a member of the Saddle & Sirloin Club and the wool judging team.
He currently holds multiple regional positions within economic development, outreach and innovation endeavors. These include serving on the national steering committee for Farm Credit Council System’s Forum for Ag Lending. He is a member of Brazos Valley Partnership’s policy committee and serves on the board of the Bryan-College Station Chamber of Commerce.
Krupa is currently serving as a mentor in the CFC Mentor/Mentee program and has helped to develop the association’s new unified customer portal that will launch this summer.
He and his wife, Amy, have three children. When he’s not working, he and his family enjoy hunting, fishing and traveling.
