Recreational Land Loans Can Be Used For:

Recreational land loans can be used to purchase property intended for hunting.


They are ideal for weekend getaways or building a second home in a rural setting.

Acquire land intended for future development or long-term investment, as long as it is not used for commercial purposes.

Recreational Land Loans Cannot Be Used For:

These loans cannot be used to purchase property primarily intended for commercial farming or ranching operations.


They are not eligible for financing residential homes located within city limits.


Properties used for income-generating agricultural production are not eligible for this type of loan.


Land intended for industrial, commercial or retail development does not qualify for recreational land loan financing.
