After more than two decades of service to Farm Credit, we are honored to celebrate the retirement of Le’Anne Dygert, Supervising Paralegal for the Legal Department.

Over her tenure, Le’Anne has worked alongside nine attorneys, supported countless loan officers, loan administrators, credit analysts, and employees across the organization, becoming the person so many turned to for legal guidance.

Throughout her 20 years, Le’Anne played a pivotal role in shaping the Legal Department’s procedures, processes, training and compliance efforts. For many years, she served as CFC’s primary compliance and training officer, developing materials and presentations that were not only informative, but also memorable and fun. Her ability to refine complex legal concepts into clear, concise, and common‑sense explanations set a standard that will be felt long after her retirement.

Le’Anne most recently was promoted to Supervising Paralegal, where she led the department’s paralegal and administrative staff with the same steadiness, expertise and good humor that has defined her entire career. She also served as the department’s primary liaison with outside counsel for out‑of‑state real estate loan reviews.

As Kevin Koel shared, “Besides being the Legal Department’s UCC Expert, Notary Guru, MOHO Queen, and all‑around jack of all trades, she also became the primary liaison with CFC’s outside counsel for reviewing out‑of‑state real estate loans.”

“It is also quite possible, with the exclusion of appraisers, she may have logged the most travel miles of any employee,” he added.

The number of questions answered, deals supported, projects completed, and trainings Le’Anne delivered over her career is simply too vast to list. What we can say with certainty is that her influence has been immeasurable, and her absence will be deeply felt.
