Scholarships for high school seniors are now available from Capital Farm Credit

Capital Farm Credit is honored to support the future of agriculture and rural communities across Texas. In recognition of outstanding achievement and potential, the organization awards $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors within its market territories. 

Interested in applying? Youth scholarships are awarded using the following eligibility requirements:   

  • Funds shall be used to attend an accredited vocational or technical school, college or university. Students must maintain full-time status. 
  • Applicants must be high school seniors, graduating within the current school year, and reside within the Capital Farm Credit service area. 
  • Applicants must demonstrate that they have a tentative educational plan and goals, related to fields in agriculture or natural resources (may include Ag Communications, Ag Economics/Business, Ag Education, Wildlife or Ranch Management, etc.). 
  • Applicants must include digital copies of the following documents along with their completed online application for consideration: 
              a. Copy of recent high school transcript 
              b. Two letters of recommendation
