Capital Farm Credit is helping cultivate the knowledge of other financial experts at Accounting for Agriculture, a day of continuing education training for Certified Public Accountants. The free training will be held in Lubbock at the Tigris Building, 5307 West Loop 289, on Nov. 18.

CPAs from across the state can get continuing professional education credits while getting important insights and updates related to ag accounting.

“Accounting for Agriculture is our opportunity as trusted advisors to educate other trusted advisors in the field of agriculture,” said Brett Riff, CFC’s senior vice president of Financial Related Services and Alliances.

“As passionate supporters of the ag industry, we value the importance of staying informed on ever-changing legislation, farming practices and the needs of agricultural producers,” he added. “We want to ensure that all producers and their accountants are equipped with the resources and knowledge they need, so our farmers can focus on feeding the world.”
