Eight Students Participate in Capital Farm Credit's 2017 Internship Program

Capital Farm Credit (CFC) is proud to introduce the eight students involved in the company's 2017 Internship Program.

"Our annual Internship Program is a highly competitive program that provides students a great opportunity to learn and grow professionally," said Randy Breitling, Vice President, Human Resources for CFC and the Internship Program Director. "Once again, we received a number of highly qualified applicants, and selected the best of the best to join us for our Summer Program. We are proud of them all."

Through the 10-week program, students work within daily operations of the association's corporate and credit offices. Internships are available for both undergraduate and graduate students and posted in the fall each year for the following summer.

2017 Capital Farm Credit Interns

Derek Adkins of Joshua, Texas, is a Senior majoring in Agricultural Economics at Texas A&M University. He is working with our Bryan credit office. Derek makes videos of himself and friends hunting and fishing, two of his favorite hobbies.

Dakota Crissman of Bells, Texas, is recently graduated with an Bachelor of Science, Animal Science degree from Texas Tech University. He is working with our Lubbock credit office. Dakota enjoys golfing, attending livestock shows and Texas Tech sporting events.

Victoria "Grace" Edwards of Bellaire, Texas, is a Senior majoring in Agricultural Economics and Accounting at Oklahoma State University. She is working with our Wichita Falls credit office. Grace enjoys two-stepping, spending time with friends and traveling.

William "Will" Hussey of Bryan, Texas, is a Senior majoring in Agricultural Economics and Animal Science at Texas A&M University. He is working with our Bryan credit office. Will enjoys raising show cattle.

Elaine Lochte of Fredericksburg, Texas, is a Senior majoring in Agribusiness at Texas A&M University. She is working with our Corporate office. Elaine enjoys baking, running and spending time with family and friends.

Mariza Molina of Laredo, Texas, is a Senior majoring in Agribusiness at Texas A&M University. She is working with our Laredo credit office. Mariza enjoys being on her college cheer squad, biking and traveling.

Joseph Simmons of Midland, Texas, is a Senior majoring in Agribusiness at Texas A&M University. He is working with our Bellville credit office. Joseph enjoys golfing, fishing and hunting.

Kasey Sorrells of Hebronville, Texas, is pursuing a Master of Agribusiness degree from Texas Tech University. She is working with our San Antonio credit office. Kasey enjoys hunting, fishing and other outdoor activities.
