Capital Farm Credit, ACA (“CFC”) recently learned that certain paper files for loans that were paid off between 1960 and 2011 from CFC’s Burnet Credit Office were missing from an offsite third-party storage facility. Immediately upon learning of the situation, CFC conducted an extensive investigation but has been unable to locate the files or their disposition. The missing files may have contained, among other information, certain customers’ names, addresses, date of birth, Social Security numbers, phone numbers, account/loan numbers and loan amounts as well as other loan application and loan-related information.
